Reading a registration and releasing a gate are separate functions. The camera, access controller and software must support the intended workflow, with the vehicle linked to an authorised user or access rule.
Camera position is part of the system
Approach angle, speed, distance and lighting influence plate capture. We review the lane and mounting position and allow for testing under the conditions the site actually experiences.
Keep another way in
Visitors, unreadable plates and a changed vehicle still need a practical entry procedure. We include an alternative credential or intercom workflow and agree who maintains the authorised vehicle list.
